Asgaard Farm and Kennels is situated in scenic Greenup County, KY.
We are conveniently located just miles from Interstate 64, and only several minutes from Ohio and West Virginia.
We breed Entlebucher Mountain Dogs, Dairy and Meat Goats, Club Lambs and Llamas.
Entlebucher Mountain Dogs
The Entlebucher Mountain Dog, also known as the Entlebucher Sennenhund or Entlebucher Cattle Dog, is the smallest of the four Swiss Mountain Dogs including the Appenzeller, the Bernese Mountain Dog, and the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. The smaller of the Swiss Mountain dogs, the Entlebucher and Appenzeller were used as cattle herding dogs, bringing the dairy cows in from mountain pastures. The larger breeds were used as flock guardians and cart-pullers to transport milk and cheese to market.

Goats
We raise several breeds of dairy goats. We drink their milk, and use it in our soaps and cheese. We also raise a small herd of meat goats. Our Boers perform just as well in the pasture and in the show ring. We have quite a show string already, and many more up and coming stars. We offer 4-H kids, percentage and purebred breeding stock, as well as crossbreds.

Club Lambs
Our core group of ewes that produce our 4-H Club lambs are Suffolk and crosses. We continue to expand our flock with purchases of both ewes and rams. All of our additions have been selected to specifically add balance of muscle, long and wide toplines, lots of leg and eye appeal.
Llamas
Llamas are members of the camel family. The others being the Guanaco, Alpaca, Vicuna, and of course both species of the Camel. The camelids originated on the central plains of North America about 40 million years ago. Our llamas are bred and raised for a large volume of fine fiber. We selectively offer fiber blankets for sale, as well as other items already created on our farm.
